at the Arts Centre, Port Noarlunga, including painting, sculpture, ceramics and photography, each with their own unique viewpoint of coastal beauty.
Santos Tour Down Under Stage 5
One of the highlights of the renowned Santos Tour Down Under, the Stage 5 leg stretches throughout the valleys, hills and coastline of the McLaren Vale wine region, finishing with the famous Willunga Hill climb. The stage often determines the overall winner of the Tour and it remains a favourite for cyclists and spectators alike. The vineyard and seaside vistas are breathtaking in the summer sun with visitors coming from across the globe to watch the race and soak up the spirit of the region.
Fleurieu Fringe Festival
After being awarded a ‘Best Event’ award in 2017 from the Adelaide Fringe Festival, the return of Fleurieu Fringe is much anticipated. The region’s very own slice of the popular arts and cultural
festival. Sauerbier House comes alive with top performers, food trucks and entertainment. Experience the festival seaside vibe.
Fleurieu Film Festival
The rapidly growing festival features films from local and national filmmakers, with the theme for 2018 being ‘fire’. The winners will be announced at an awards celebration held on the picturesque grounds of Serafino winery in McLaren Vale. There’s also a panel event this year, where you can hear from experts in the film field. A great way to combine food, wine and entertainment!
Sand Sculpture Exhibition
A great one for little and big kids alike, this exhibition combines the best of the coast and the vibrant arts culture. Intricate sculptures transform the Port Noarlunga foreshore annually.
